Our People

Justin Way – Partner

Justin qualified as a Solicitor in 1993. He has a degree in Law from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London and completed the Solicitors Finals Exams in 1991. Justin focusses mainly on private client work undertaking Wills and Probate including complex applications and has assisted many families and individuals and supervises the work of others in the team. In addition, Justin deals with a wide variety of divorce, children and financial disputes. Justin also undertakes commercial Lease transactions and other Landlord and Tenant work.

Daniel Milan – Partner

Daniel qualified as a Solicitor in 2001. He has a degree in Business Law from Bournemouth University and completed the Legal Practice Course at the London Guildhall University. Daniel undertakes Family Law work dealing with divorce, finance and property and Children Act matters and has assisted many families and individuals since qualification.

Daniel also undertakes commercial Lease transactions and other Landlord and Tenant work and advises in relation to employment Settlement Agreements and assists Justin and Olivia in relation to private client work.

Lisa Taverner – Licensed Conveyancer

Lisa joined Pope & Co in 1988 assisting and gaining considerable experience before qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2001. Lisa specialises in a wide variety of conveyancing transactions, including residential freehold and leasehold, transfer of equity and re-mortgages. Lisa has completed thousands of conveyancing transactions since qualification.

Olivia Cooke – Paralegal/Probate Technician

Olivia joined Pope & Co in 2020 and quickly gained experience in private client work whilst undertaking Institute of Legal Executives examinations as a CPQ trainee. Olivia is now a qualified Paralegal with CILEX and registered Probate Technician with the Council for Licensed Conveyancers. Olivia has quickly gained knowledge in this area under the supervision of Justin Way, Partner, dividing her time between Wills, Probate applications, administration of Estates and Powers of Attorney.
